Join us at Moon Pie Pizza on Wednesday, May 18th from 5 pm to 8 pm  for an Oak Grove Restaurant Night. Twenty percent of the evening's profits will go directly back to Oak Grove clasrooms! Teachers will be waiting on tables.

Oak Grove CARNIVAL This Saturday

Join us this Saturday for the Oak Grove Annual Carnival. There will be games, prizes, booths, food and fun for all members of the family.

Volunteers are an essential part of this event. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the front hallway.

Nominations are open for the 2011-2012 PTO Officers. Come to the rescheduled PTO meeting on Thursday, April 14th at 6:30 pm to learn more about PTO and how you can be involved. Over half of the PTO officers are leaving this year (5th and 6th grade parents moving to middle school), and we need more volunteers!

Burgerville Restaurant Night Raises $$ for Oak Grove

The restaurant night at Burgerville on January 18th raised over $200 for Oak Grove Elementary!

Mrs. Freeman-Bauer's 3rd grade class boasted the most students who attended. They will be rewarded with Burgerville milkshakes for the whole class!

New Giftcard/Scrip Fundraiser Dates Set

The Winter/Spring 2011 Giftcard/Scrip fundraiser order dates have been set. Click on the Scrip Dates link in the right side column to view them.

Giftcards are a great fundraiser, because you order giftcards for just what you need and 100% of the money you spend comes back to you.

It's simple to order scrip. Pick up an order form outside the school office, fill it out and return it to school with your payment. Orders are processed on Tuesdays (see which dates we order scrip) and can be picked up on Friday mornings at school. You can also download a more comprehensive scrip order form from www.ttsd.k12.or.us. Can't get to school to pick up your scrip? We can deliver, just contact one of the scrip representatives listed on the back of the giftcard/scrip order form.

Haven't tried this fundraiser? Try it and see how easy it is. Again, you only spend money for giftcards that you need. Have your family and friends try scrip/giftcards too.

Another bonus--Half of the profit from your giftcard purchases go into an outdoor school account for your family.

North Clackamas School District's Education Redesign Plan

Answers to Your Questions about Education Redesign North Clackamas Schools is preparing for a funding shortfall of $10 to $15 million next year, resulting in the loss of 150 to 170 employees. The School Board is considering a number of strategies to lessen the impact of class size increases while maintaining a diversity of student programs. 2011 Giftcard/Scrip Calendar Out

The 2011 Giftcard/Scrip calendar is available now. New order forms can be picked up outside the Oak Grove office.

The Giftcard/Scrip program is a fundraiser where you spend money only for things that you need. One hundred percent of the money you spend on a giftcard comes back to you! Merchants donate a portion of their profit from the giftcard back to our school.

Buy giftcards (scrip) through Oak Grove PTO before you go shopping for groceries, buy movie tickets, or pick up a cup of coffee.

Participating in this fundraiser is easy; pick up an order form outside the school office or print it off the PTO website through the giftcard/scrip link. Turn in your order by 8 am on Tuesday and pick up your giftcards the following Friday morning in the school office.

Another bonus of this program--HALF of the profit from your giftcard/scrip purchases go into a special family account to help your family pay for 6th grade Outdoor School.

Right now we are looking for photos of BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT and the HARVEST FESTIVAL.


Please don't wait until the end of the year to turn in ALL your DIGITAL photos. Turning in a few photos at a time is easier to manage. Please label your photos with the activity, grade level and date (can be approximate)

This year our goal is to have EVERY class represented in the yearbook.
